likhaiṅgē japaiṅhū karaiṅgē|
jatāvaiṅ
japāvaiṅ batāvaiṅ bujhāvaiṅ
sabai
kō subānī sudānai karaiṅgē||1|
Rendition: Those persons who sing, contemplate on the meanings,
listen, remember, read, write, recite the
verses contained in this book; narrate the meanings and commentary to
others as well as encourage others to read this book and donate this glory to
others in the form of a book– |1|
hōya
sakāma karaiṅ yadi sēvana
sō
hari jū paravāna karaiṅgē|
anta
sukhanta bhajanta tarantahiṅ
sō
jaga mēṅ uparanta rahaiṅgē||2|
Rendition: if those persons do so with an intention of
fulfilling their cherished desire, then the Personality of GodHead– Śrī Hari–
will fulfill their desires which are not opposed to the path of righteousness
(Dharma); later, such persons will attain the devotion to Gaura-Hari and will
become free from the cycles of birth and death. Due to the power of devotion,
their mind will become free from the attachment to this world and the worldly
things|2|
jō
nirakāma karaiṅ yadi sēvana
sō
hari sēva sukāma varaiṅgē|
ākara
mūla sudharma divākara
sō
jana kē ura prāna basaiṅgē||3|
Rendition: Those who will do so without keeping any
material-motive in their mind (Niṣkāma-Bhāva)– then all of them will certainly
attain Service unto the Personality of GodHead. The Supreme Personality of
GodHead is the Primeval-Cause of the Eternal-Religion (Sanātana-Dharma) and for
the cause of protection and propagation of this path of Eternal Religion, He is
Magnanimous as Sun– that same Personality of GodHead will reside in the hearts
of all such persons|3|

jana kī hari lāja rakhaiṅ nita
nāhi
kabai jamaphāsa paraiṅgē|
kṛṣṇahiṅ
dāsa yahī pada gāvahi
sō
hari prēma prakāsa karaiṅgē||4|
Rendition: Lord Gaurāṅga will protect them and they will not be
subjected to lord of death (Yama) when they breathe their last breath. ‘Kṛṣṇa
dāsa’ says that Gaurāṅga Mahāprabhu will inundate them in the Pure Love of Kṛṣṇa|4|
Illuminating Tendency (Prakāśikā-Vr̥tti): “Preaching of the Holy Names,
Abode, Nature and Pastimes (Nāma, Dhāma, Guṇa & Līlā) of Pañca-Tattva is
the essence”– those who understand this and engage in the selfless preaching
activities without any ulterior motives– Gaurāṅga Mahāprabhu will certainly
inundate their lives with the Pure Love of Kṛṣṇa– in this way, this song is
being sung by ‘Kṛṣṇa-dāsa’.
